Dear #PeanutProject community, it's 12:18am Montreal local time and got off a call. The interest in @Montreal_Expos and @MLB is so off-the-chart when combined with @WatchMojo's mojo, for lack of better term. We are now redrawing the battleground quite a bit. My goal is no longer (and it never was) a near-term field goal (or bunt/single), but a TOTAL demolition by halftime. What I mean by this is ensuring a long-term ownership group that values what MTL has to offer, what ownership of a team means, but also a structure that does not mean we get a team only to lose it 5-10 years later. No. Per league rules, the Bears will not receive two compensatory third round picks because Cunningham is not being hired by Atlanta as the primary football executive. That position was filled by Matt Ryan.

Je trouve que les partisans du #CH réagissent fort à la seconde où l'équipe traverse une séquence un peu plus difficile. Si on vous avait dit qu'avec 30 matchs à jouer à la saison, l'équipe se positionnerait au 8e rang du classement général, au WC1 de l'Est avec 6 points d'avance sur le plus proche poursuivant du WC2 et à égalité pour les points pour le 3e rang de la division Atlantique, auriez-vous été satisfaits? Le but était de se battre pour une place en séries et espérer y participer. Le club est le plus jeune de la ligue, évidemment qu'ils vont traverser des périodes plus houleuses, plus inconstantes. Est-ce que tout est parfait? Absolument pas. Et si on s'attendait à ce que tout soit parfait, peut-être que c'est nos attentes qui étaient irréalistes au final. Faudra que l'équipe apprenne à jouer avec l'avance. C'est la plus grosse lacune présentement. Mais c'est un jeune club, évidemment qu'ils ont encore des choses à apprendre avant de passer au statut d'aspirant. Et pour la situation des gardiens de but... c'est vrai que Samuel Montembeault a été faible sur les 3e et 4e buts des Bruins et qu'il aurait dû les arrêter. Mais il a fait 3-4 solides arrêts auparavant qui auraient pu être des buts aussi. Et ils sont 6 joueurs sur la patinoire en même temps. Le gardien n'est pas toujours celui à blâmer. Faut relativiser. Bref, pour citer le bon vieux Carey, chill out! Après 52 matchs, le club est exactement où il est supposé être et probablement même un peu plus haut. #Mes2Cennes #Habs #Canadiens
