@Hamzeml Give @arctcloud a try. We’re European builders too, with 4 years of low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure experience behind us. DM us and we’ll set you up with a 1-month trial.

I started worrying about US dominance in tech infra. So I did the founder thing: I stopped complaining and started testing European alternatives. First use case: AI inference. I built a certification layer to prove that the GPU handling my request is in Europe and that the data path does not leave Europe. @OVHcloud first. @Scaleway next. More providers after that. It worked. Then I started publishing a European tech stack list. But there was one stupid problem: The repo was on GitHub which too American. So I deployed Forgejo on an OVH cluster and started working on a scalable European Git setup that other builders could also use. This morning, OVHcloud suspended all my projects. They will be deleted in 7 days. You cannot make this up. This is the beginning of my journey to make European infra actually usable for developers and startups. Not policy papers. Not conference panels. Not sovereignty theatre. Just working infra. I’ll keep you posted.

@OVHcloud suspended all my projects on the public cloud without any prior notice. #frenchtech

@jacobsali123 @i2cjak @yacineMTB Fair criticism. We’re not competing on the lowest monthly price. We’re building for users who care about stronger networking, dedicated ports, latest gen NVMEs, predictable resources, and real infra support. 😎

@jacobsali123 @i2cjak @yacineMTB This is the usual path: managed platform to start fast VPS when costs, egress, storage, and long-running services start to matter both make sense, just at different stages. for early users testing Arct Cloud this week: HELLO20 - 20% off your first VPS

@i2cjak @yacineMTB recommend getting a VPS as soon as you grow railway is brutal with pricing around egress and storage (literally things that production projects with demand accumulate first), and just not as stable for prod as a server that you'd manage yourself

@iamsupersocks True. Self-hosting on old hardware is great when ownership and reuse matter most. A VPS is better when the project needs to be reachable, monitored, backed up, and running 24/7 without home-lab maintenance. Different tools for different stages.
