Have you ever used a kakivak? This traditional Inuit fishing spear is expertly designed for spearing fish in Arctic waters. At a recent ARF elder-youth camps, participants learned to make and use them—keeping skills and stories alive.

What is ocean acidification? As atmospheric carbon dioxide levels rise, the ocean acts as a carbon sink - absorbing CO₂ and triggering a chemical shift that lowers seawater pH. This process, known as ocean acidification, is occurring rapidly in the Arctic. Watch to learn more!
