"Integrity crew, on April 15, 1970 during the Apollo 13 mission, three explorers set the record for the farthest distance humans have ever traveled from our home planet... at that time, over 55 years ago, Lovell, Swigert, and Haise flew 248,655 statute miles away from Earth..."
Friday's tour of Spaceport America and Virgin Galactic was spectacular as ever... here are a few approved photos from the Gateway to Space building!
Thanks to our hosts, the passionate astronauts, and all the participants. 🙏

This was a special Day 3! Astronaut @ChrisSembroski shared his story, we got to thoroughly explore Kilbourne Hole with planetary scientist @nasaman58, and after saying goodbye to some of the cohort who had to leave, several others caught a showing of Project Hail Mary!
It's an adventure from the Museum of Space History to the Carrizozo Lava Flow (a close analog to places on the Moon, Venus, Io, & elsewhere in the solar system and beyond) and the dunes of White Sands, which are strikingly similar to gypsum sand dunes near the North Pole on Mars!
The Challenger Center in Las Cruces was a great addition to Day One of the Earth and Space Experience! Students, Educators, and Space Enthusiasts from around the world came to gether for a simulated mission to Mars. 🚀🟠
The Earth and Space Experience kicks off tomorrow! This evening's social not only brought together the new cohort, but also brought out space industry locals who make a global impact. There were some really special moments! 🌎 🚀🌕🟠✨
