Absolutely stoked to have started last week as Operations Support over at @imgn_ai! I had to jump at the opportunity when I was approached for the role. arfy loves their innovation and I'm chuffed to go from user to part of the imgnAI team! 🙏😸🔥

@exQUIZitely Quarterdeck DESQView was the best (although it replaced DOS so not strictly the same league as these other ones.) The ability to multitask was a game-changer for those of us running dialup BBSes.

Are you old enough to remember the golden age of text-mode DOS productivity tools? When hard drives were growing, users had to manage lots of files manually, and GUIs were still clunky or secondary/optional, many of these tools were hugely popular. If you had a PC in the 80s and 90s, I bet you had at least one of the following four. Peak popularity was probably between 1987 to 1994. XTree (and XTree Gold/Pro): Released in 1985 and was later called "perhaps the most popular DOS shell." XTree Gold (1989) was a massive hit, with over 3 million copies sold by 1991. Norton Commander (NC): First version from 1986, it became the "king" of DOS file managers in the late 80s/early 90s. It dominated through the mid-90s, with clones left, right, and center. PC Tools: Was a pretty strong competitor in the late 80s and early 90s, often second only to Norton products. It evolved into a full utility suite. Volkov Commander, DOS Navigator, etc.: These clones peaked in the early-to-mid 90s (Volkov from 1992 onward), especially on lower-end hardware where their speed and small size mattered most.

For this tech demo, I made all assets in Telegram using my OpenClaw agent against our API. I'll be publishing the skill (agent and cross-platform agnostic) as we launch the API! - Combining 3 Videos, some made with Seedance 2.0, others with LTX 2.3. - Started from images generated and modified with Seedream, GPT 2, etc. Using reference images, first frames, etc. - Post-processing: joining videos, cropping, slicing, resizing, transitions effects, text effects, re-encoding into social-friendly format, etc. - Back-and-forth discussions to tweak and fine-tune versions, all post-processing done locally (no LLM token costs). Zero technical skill needed for this entire workflow. Letting the skill and API handle the heavy lifting, we just use natural language throughout. You are not bullish enough on @imgn_ai $IMGN.

May 17th is the imgnAI API launch, it’ll be a good litmus test for self-updating agents. GPT Image 2 is about 3x the price on Venice. GLM 5.1 about 40% more expensive on Venice. Self-updating agents will switch instantly. Others will under-perform until manually switched.

The unlock for skills on the imgnAI API is insane. Especially when it’s so much cheaper than Venice / $VVV for frontier models. Definitely making an openclaw skill which just produces regulations, gunna obsolete the EU overnight

He just finished wiring his agent up to spend 27c for a gpt-image 2 image, now release it on the imgnAI API but make it only cost 7c (we actually weren’t aware you guys were getting railroaded this hard for API costs)

If you're burning $VVV on 30-40% markups for your agents, that's about to come to an end.

imgnAI API launches this week Pricing is extremely competitive - about 20-25% cheaper than Venice for fully private text models. Images as low as 1c for 2K/4MP, Video coming in cheaper than Venice too. These are x402 rates, it's cheaper again with bulk credit purchases 🥵
