@scaton1 I suppose I'm trying to say any decision where two people need to communicate on it is open to miscommunication. I agree with you is a different type of error, but still it's just another human error.

@scaton1 There must have been cases where a linesman signals one thing and the ref misunderstands and gives the wrong decision. Isn't that the same?

For all the ludicrous equivalency people are trying to create….. Imagine a ref that thinks when the buzz goes off on his watch, it means “no goal” rather than “goal”, and applies the outcome accordingly. What would we do post game?

@izakaminska Not involved inthe debate, but inflation was largely caused by supply issues and pandemic stimulus, making it transitory, no? I don't think fiscal conditions will encourage long-term demand-driven inflation in the UK; do you think otherwise?

@emollick The personal list is really interesting, but the political list seems to reflect the political priorities of the experts. Eg they think reducing income inequality will have the same impact as promoting sports.
