You see, when a developer doesn't communicate with its playerbase, this forces some of them to search and look into things. 1.5 years is roughly the time we've been waiting for Caleb to have a main story update, which has led some players to speculate that the reason Caleb hasn't had his update is tied to needing Valko's release first, for narrative purposes. These are only speculations, but it proves how harmful it is to let your players run around with theories when you could have just communicated properly. I maintain that if you had communicated with us, as you did initially, by informing us that Sylus and Caleb were coming, we wouldn't be in this mess, but I digress. The reality is, you faced backlash for launching Valko "without previous communication" from normal players and absolute vitriolic hatred from antis who called him ugly, "Western-inspired" junk. Both sides exploded into something that spiraled into international controversy. This is why you released a statement to assure us you "read our feedback," and shared that Valko had been in development, with a promise you wouldn't change your plans for any reason. That expectation didn't come from rumors; it came from your own communication. Many of us believed you. We took this statement as confirmation that Valko would launch as planned. In a live-service game, players often purchase premium currency before the content they want is released. In this game's particular case, we know that every new LI has launched with a limited solo banner. Many people recharged for Valko. Whether canceling resulted from internal discussions, external pressures, or something else, the outcome is entirely the same: players who relied on your statement now question whether future assurances carry any weight. This breach of trust is also why some players are even seeking legal counsel about their pre-purchases and how to fight for their consumer rights. Consumer trust is important. When a company publicly reassures its players, those statements influence decisions. When those assurances are later withdrawn, it doesn't just affect one character; it affects trust with real people who supported your product all this time or who were about to try your product. @aria_nova5 @garysgotjams or they could make Valko an npc and release him much more later like with Caleb. I still remember some ppl who said Caleb's not gonna be a Li and here we are. IF they are working on changing Valko (I hope not, he's perfect), that's the best outcome for them.

@__starkissed__ it’s a terrible idea to drop it now. not only bc it’ll add fuel to the fire but also bc everything else is still left unaddressed. no new orbits, no new ways to farm, no updates for abyssal chaos or unicorns operation. not the mention the game is glitchy.

@forlishen_ I doubt they just drop RAF's myth. I mean if they would take that route, wouldn't that mean they have to promote the myth NOW? But they stay silent. So I guess they do another rerun.

It’s unforgivable that Infold not only canceled Valko but, in doing so, also broke their promise, creating an environment that enabled cyberbullying. i have a little question. are we sure they’ll be dropping rafayel’s new myth with this whole mess happening or are this suppositions because of the schedule we had rolling around? i mean, everything has changed and they haven’t been pronouncing about anything lately, we didn’t even know we’d get a wander in wonder rerun with the update in the first place until the new version dropped. i know rafayel’s always been like a guinea pig to them but man, dropping his myth that is so important to his lore without announcing anything would be so messed up :(

We need to look at the bigger picture. Infold is dropping this new Rafayel Myth for a very specific reason. They are using their "mascot" to bait us into breaking the boycott.
