@IGN Im a 3D engine dev and know exactly how it works. Daniel Owen is saying the opposite to what Jacob said. It's lighting according to materials. It's not changing or hallucinating faces. It's not an overlay like a snapchat filter. It's a massive improvement in lighting tech.

@CryxtonNoMore i had to double take at the vram ngl but if you allocate like 512mb thats the recommended requirements for og4! i wouldn't allocate too much bc browsers like to eat ram like crazy :3 good luck!!!!

@Raven__621 People complaining about crashes in NV in 2026 (not you) clearly haven't played it because it's very stable. It's still a game using bethesda's god awful engine, but it's probably the most stable bethesda game

Last time I played new vegas, it was on a 2gb ram pc with 1gb physx card. That game used to run at like 15-20 fps in the overworld, never modded that shit bcz I didn't know modding except cheats, I rawdogged through the crashes. Still had a wonderful time bcz the game was goated.
