That entire segment of commentary felt really insensitive from her. The other two commentators were genuinely empathising at that point with Shreyanka but not her 🥲

okay but the WORST part of today's match barring Shreyanka's unfortunate injury was what I heard in the comm box about it. Wtf dym Shreyanka is crying out due to the pain and Anjum is speaking insensitively about who could be a possible replacement?! HAVE SOME FKING EMPATHY

At a bar, they were playing the IndvAfg ODI. I got them, after pestering 2 waiters, to change it to the big SA v Aus game. People are thinking I’m mad but after these first couple of overs, if they watching, pretty sure they going to be hooked on to the women’s World Cup!

Still hear some commentators on women's cricket discussing e.g. balance of attacks in England, and thinking they need to be loaded with seam bowlers, as if this is a men's Test. Spinners are and always have been a major threat in women's cricket no matter where games are played.
