Minister @DonnellyStephen has confirmed a HSCP role is being created in the @roinnslainte and will be advertised shortly. AOTI along with our colleagues in the HSCPA have been advocating for a Chief HSCP Officer in the Department in recent years. We welcome this development.

@daisyrichens I agree, total waste. We’ve tried to encourage them being saved but only a few consultants seem to remember. If you come up with an effective way to save them please let me know. I think they’re pretty cheap and come in separately sealed packs. I’ll email you the info.

Anyone else not aware the traches on their unit come with thumb ports because they mysteriously go missing between trache insertion and you wanting to start ACV with the patient? 🤔 😂
