A dialogue between past and present defines the second chapter of Armani/Archivio at the Giorgio Armani boutique, where thirteen archival looks from 1979 to 1994 are faithfully reproduced and presented in a curated selection. Armani/Casa presents ORIGINI at Milano Design Week 2026. On the second floor, three distinct living environments unfold as intimate interpretations of domestic space, inspired by the private residences of Giorgio Armani in Milan, Pantelleria, and St. Moritz. The Milan residence is expressed through a dialogue of iconic furnishings and spatial narratives. A hand-painted watercolor of the gallery wall frames a refined setting where pieces such as the BORGONUOVO game table, CLASSIC chairs, and LOGO lamp define a composed harmony of soft tones and graphic contrasts. A second area recalls one of the most iconic corners of the home, with a reference to the staircase and sculpted black panthers, where seating, tables, and lighting interact through layered materials—linen, jacquard, dark woods, and metallic details—creating a balanced interplay of form and texture. The Pantelleria-inspired environment opens to a serene, light-filled dimension, evoked by a painted seascape with curtains moved by the breeze. Modular seating and sculptural tables in natural materials define a fluid landscape for conviviality and shared moments, shaped by comfort and ease. An introspective atmosphere defines the setting inspired by the St. Moritz mountain home, where a painted wall with fireplace and window frames a more intimate retreat. Soft seating, low tables, and storage pieces in warm woods and tactile fabrics create a cocooning environment dedicated to relaxation and reflection. Each environment reveals a distinct mood, united by a coherent aesthetic language where furnishings, materials, and details define a continuous dialogue between memory and evolution.
