📞 On March 27 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of #Armenia @AraratMirzoyan had a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of #Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov. The Ministers noted with satisfaction the positive developments in further normalisation process between Armenia & Azerbaijan. Ararat Mirzoyan & Jeyhun Bayramov also discussed regional issues & engagements within multilateral platforms.

On 5 March Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of #Armenia @AraratMirzoyan had a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of #Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov. 📞 During the conversation, the Ministers exchanged views on recent developments in the region. The sides expressed concern & noted the importance of refraining from actions that could further escalate tensions, emphasizing the need to ensure stability & security. The Ministers noted with satisfaction the importance of sustainable peace between Armenia & Azerbaijan & exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

🇦🇲🤝🇷🇴 Armenia-Romania multisectoral partnership continues to expand, this time in the field of civil aviation.

Ambassador @tigrangalstyan met today with State Secretary Daniel Constantin, Chairman of the Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade @investromania. Discussions focused on 🇦🇲-🇷🇴 bilateral trade positive developments and prospects of wider regional economic cooperation.

Pleased to meet 🇲🇩DPM, FM @MihaiPopsoi in #Strasbourg. Congratulating him on assuming @coe CoM, Chairmanship, stressed readiness to engage actively in promoting shared priorities. Agreed to further strengthen bilateral coop, including towards reinforcing democratic resilience.

#YearInReview 🇦🇲🤝🇪🇺 The year 2025 was a pivotal year for the partnership between the Republic of #Armenia & the #EuropeanUnion, marked by significant developments. ⤵️ Cooperation in the fields of defense & security was expanded: 1️⃣ consultations on Armenia–EU security & defense were launched, 2️⃣ the Agreement on Armenia’s participation in the EU’s CSDP missions was signed & entered into force, 3️⃣ EUMA mandate was extended serving as an important factor for stability, 4️⃣ consensus was reached among EU member states on the second allocation of support for Armenia under the European Peace Facility. 🛫 Progress was also made in the visa liberalization dialogue, aimed at delivering tangible results for Armenian citizens. 🔺 The second installment of the Resilience and Growth Plan for Armenia (€202.5 million) is underway. 🤝 Agreements were reached regarding the hosting of upcoming major events: 🔹 Armenia was selected to host the Summit of the European Political Community Summit in the Spring of 2026, 🔹 The first Armenia–EU Summit will take place in May 2026. ❕ The year concluded with the adoption of the Strategic Agenda for Armenia–EU Partnership, marking a new & more ambitious phase of the partnership—driven by a shared vision & responsibility aimed at delivering concrete results in key areas. — 📌 The deepening of the Armenia–EU partnership reflects the European aspirations of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia adopted the Law on the Launch of the Accession Process of the Republic of Armenia to the European Union.
