To be honest, Kotoka International Airport or Accra International Airport is great for what it is currently. Some minor improvements here and there will be great. No major overhaul!

@koboateng @arnold_kojo @kwadwosheldon And this bill provides that protection. Supporting it does not mean we reject freedom, but rather that we prioritize the safety and well-being of the majority while balancing rights responsibly. Because if a persons freedom of speech is misinformation and hatred, it’s not good!

I knew we were in trouble the moment I slid into the DMs of government officials and media personalities to warn them about the dangerous bills being introduced by the Minister for Communications. I broke down how the Cybersecurity Amendment Bill 2025 is just one of 15 bills being pushed through. I explained the implications. I sent the details. They all read it. Some even replied privately. Not one of them posted publicly. The people who are supposed to give us the truth have been compromised and it shows. This is exactly why I will always rate @kwadwosheldon . Some people still speak regardless of who is watching.

@koboateng @arnold_kojo @kwadwosheldon some limits on online expression are acceptable if they help safeguard citizens, businesses, and critical digital infrastructure from harm. In today’s rapidly digitizing environment, strong legal frameworks are essential to build trust in online and reduce social manipulation.

@koboateng @arnold_kojo @kwadwosheldon I support the bills in their current form because they are necessary to protect Ghanaians from misinformation, scams, and online fraud. While potential restrictions to freedom of speech, I see it as a reasonable trade-off.

@koboateng @arnold_kojo @kwadwosheldon Bro I have already read these articles before. It’s a sophisticated argument. They make sense but it’s a trade off we have to make. Just like the UK, USA, Canada have done. What we need to ensure is accountability. We need clear definitions and clarity concerning that.

@koboateng @kwadwosheldon For eg, the UK Online Safety Act and the US Patriot Act were introduced to protect citizens and strengthen security, but they also sparked debates over privacy. both gov gained stronger enforcement powers, but at the cost of public concerns over free speech and personal privacy.

@koboateng @kwadwosheldon The bill raises concerns about freedom and privacy. Some fear it could limit free speech or give too much power to government. Because the bill gives authorities powers to monitor online activity and which could result in increased potential abuse of power. But it’s necessary.

@koboateng @TBT_Red_teamer No one is after you. Ideally the government is interested in someone typing “B O M B” not “B O O B S”. It’s better for us as a country to get ahead of cybersecurity and safeguarding ourselves in the digital world. A lot of technologies coming, we need laws to ensure compliance.

Operation RECOVER All Loot but see your point. Charley, when we were in opposition, we did proper contextual scrutiny and not emotional scrutiny. ORAL has recovered huge amount and is still prosecuting others. Update has been given each time so look for them
Nana B.@koboateng

Update: Mahama was sworn in on January 7, 2025. Today is April 4, 2026. That is 1 year, 2 months and 28 days in power. ORAL received over 2,400 corruption cases. 280 cases are currently under active investigation. Not convictions. Not arrests. Out of 2,400 cases. Why are you still defending this bro?
