The Army’s FY26 Retention Mission reinforces the commitment to Human Resource Continuous Transformation while retaining high-quality Soldiers and offering enhanced tiered monetary incentives. Priority will be placed on longer service commitment and reclassification into critical Military Occupational Specialties, with commanders authorized to implement innovative policies.

Great leaders don’t just master doctrinethey master themselves. Humility builds trust, cohesion, and staying power in our formations. As we develop leaders of character and retain the Army’s best, humility remains a force multiplier. 3x5leadership.com/blog/Be-Humble

Hot off the press, the previous ACFT exemption for body composition made it to the new AFT! Just like the last exemption, Soldiers must score over 80 in each event and have a minimum score (now 465). Find it here: army.mil/article/288357. Stay ready. Stay lethal. Stay fit!

We understand the frustration regarding the recent policy changes for reenlistment options for FY25 Soldiers. Note, FY25 Soldiers have been able to reup since March 2024. The decision to restrict options for this population was based on the Army meeting FY25 retention goals.

RETENTION! The window to qualify for retention options other than needs of the Army is closing April 21, 2025, if your ETS date is before Sept. 30, 2025. Go see a @armyretention counselor ASAP if you're thinking about re-enlisting. The @USArmy's retention success has led to adjustments in reenlistment options for Soldiers whose ETS is coming up. The adjustment balances the Army's current needs while preserving Soldiers' opportunity to continue serving. Here's an excerpt👇from the new PAM 601-280.
