Having said that, big fan of giving Mourinho a big runway this summer to build his squad the way he wants and not wasting time. If Jose wants him, he should have him -- that should be the way the club operates. Jose brought us a ton of great squad players in the past and knows he most likely has no choice but to make Mbappe - Vini work, which means plugging all the holes around them and maximizing the entire squad. More on Konate: You have to hope he can recover his best form (obviously), and the injury history doesn't look great, and that's a big concern given our backline depth is has injury issues already. Dumfries is a nice surprise. You're going to get a high baseline of ball-winning and attacking sequences. Needed another RB other than Trent.
