4-3-1 in Prague with Alakazam. List felt really good but matchups and a little bad variants here and there killed the run. I still belive in the deck but think there's a lot to work on.

@arnold_tcg I still dont know haha. 2 Prizes with attack from Togekiss and a heads flip, another 2 with Fez while he kinda bricked and then traded 2 with Alakazam into Honch and Porygon. Game 2 went similar and he scooped mid way.

After having judged around 30 major events over the last 4 years, it was time in Prague to switch sides and compete for my first time at a Regional with Alakazam ft. Togekiss 🥄 Most matches didn't go as wished with Togekiss flipping tails 7 out of 9 times 😔 #PlayPokemon

@arnold_tcg @PokeDuelsTikTok With PultNoir being only 5% Psyduck is objectively bad EV for the event. Unfortunately I hit 3 PultNoir so yeah. Ignition was amazing, adds a lot of flexibility to your deck while giving you lines into otherwise lost boards.

@gearhartpkmn @AbrandNewMac Dragapult has weakness…just requires an extra card…

@AbrandNewMac It's not a coincidence that the last two times we've had a Pokémon with no Weakness, they've been 30%+ decks (Dragapult, and Lugia with Dunsparce). Weakness is what stops Pokémon from looking like MTG metagames.

If they changed the weakness mechanic to +40 damage, would you still consider this format slop ? (I like the format, but i see plenty of complaints)

@zamu_zam Have a look at our lists from New Zealand, Sydney and EUIC for some Legacy inspiration…we played this to 3 regionals in a row and the Legacy is goated!

David Lucca #EUIC journey has come to an end with a 3-4-1 record. After winning the Santiago Regional last week, we had higher expectations for this one, but that’s the nature of TCG—full of lessons and tough matches. 🇬🇧🃏
