thereโs misogyny everywhere for those with eyes to see. even the word โhysteriaโ comes from the greek word for uterus bc ancient physicians believed womenโs emotional and mental distress was caused by the womb. for centuries, women were labelled hysterical for anything from post-partum depression to defying social norms or simply making men uncomfortable and were often institutionalised or medically controlled bc of it.
