@Eklund Indeed, I taught they had completely removed it. They actually changed the rule in around the 05 lockout from 1/2inch to 3/4inch, making most illegal sticks legal with the new ruling. Jason spezza was the last one called with illegal curve in 2009

Why would the Canadiens call up Marc Del Gaizo and not Adam Engstrom or David Reinbacher? The Canadiens don't want to bother the development of their young defencemen at the moment. They strongly believe consistency and lots of playing time is more important for them.
