I personally think this whole "decentralise everything" notion is mostly just a vapid narrative.
The truth is, most people don't want to, nor are even remotely responsible enough to be their own custodian.
Having a bank is nice, because you know your money is there no matter what (99.9999999% of the time) and you don't have to worry about being scammed, rugged, losing your device etc etc.
I'm pro decentralisation, as an option, but to think it's going to be the norm and we are going to get rid of centralised custodians altogether is delusional imo.

When the world goes full crypto. There will no longer be banks. There won’t even be centralized exchanges. Why? Don’t need them. May be hard to see it now, but one day $ASTER could be worth hundreds of billions. As soon as the world fully accepts crypto, for simple things like groceries, online shopping etc we don’t need the banks, or centralized exchanges (for on ramp-off ramp). Why trade on a CEX? KYC, risk of assets being frozen, risk of CEX going bust, trades public to market makers. A huge shift is happening.

$BTC cooking - our most short term bullish scenario has played out.
Today I’m watching two scalp setups:
LONG - signs of strong buyer absorption in the retracement to the first green zone, looking for continuation higher off seller exhaustion
SHORT - trading back into the first green zone from a premium area (potentially if we retest the daily VWAP or 1st SD before retracing lower), or rejection from the first green zone, leading to lower levels, with the main target at the weekly VWAP around ~113,000.

Our bullish scenario has played out well on $BTC, with a stronger daily buy imbalance now holding beautifully as support at 110,500.
Next target: retest the bearish imbalance near 113,500, aligning with last week’s 2nd SD VWAP. Expect strong, but ideally temporary, resistance here.
Today I’ll be eyeing long scalps off seller absorption or quick shorts off VWAP reversions, with key resistance around 111,700, 112,000, and of course 113,500.

Beautiful 4H buy imbalance created within the larger sell imbalance on the daily timeframe. Ideally we start to round out a bottom here for $BTC at 110k before moving higher into the next zone of resistance. Given that it's September, and taking into account the overall sentiment, *IMO*, pumps might be more suited to reversion trades rather than fomo'ing that you missed the swing low. $BTC Update: Trading back into the Aug 23rd imbalance (red zone).
Most bullish case in short term: we push through ~110,810 + flip that to support, aiming for ~113,687.
Hopium to one side, as long as we hold ~107,500 (~106.1 worst case) in the short term, everything looks good.
