Instead of leaving music behind, she learned to play again using a 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗿𝗺. She turned a difficult moment in life into a quiet example of resilience. For me, this is one of the most meaningful roles technology can play. Not replacing people. But helping people 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲, in new ways. If Iran put a missile into the San Francisco backyard I just left a good number of robotics companies would cease to exist. I am one lucky mf’er. One guy stood out from the rest. Found a way to get a unique dataset that his competition will find it hard to get to. Took him six years to get it himself and he has to work many deals in India and elsewhere to get it. His model can enable a robot to figure out how to run any computer faster than any other. Not one of these guys, there was a big crowd behind me of people who build all sorts of robots from agricultural ones to industrial robots of various kinds (I was one of three people who weren’t running a robot company). I just took a picture because this event might be worthy of a new Silicon Valley TV show: luma.com/5edx1tzt?tk=b5… Except it is San Francisco. It is an amazing place building the future. The Chicken had Indian spices. Was so good. Thanks @p_mohansivam for a very special night (that is him with the fun glasses).
