This is an interesting paper on #vortices and #flow around #sails that came out from my PhD. Published in @flow_journal, a great journal!

@GeoMcclaurin @LiftWec Of course that is true. This is an initial academic excercise. For a large scale prototype we can think of ways to yaw the device into a dominant wave direction. Note that the multi directionality of wind energy was not a show stopper for developing wind turbines.
