The abuse directed at women on social media is one of the most disturbing things I've learnt from being on this platform. It needs to be said, however, that this week's change in abortion laws - of which she is a prominent aupporter - is one of the most sickening changes to British society ever. It's now legal in this country to "terminate" up until birth. It's basically infanticide. We're killing babies that could easily survive outside the womb and it's been done without any meaningful public debate - piggy-backing as an amendment to a barely relevant bill. Dark. Dark in so many ways. I don't use the word "wicked" lightly but that's what this legislation is. And that so few people in this country even seem to care about what is now lawful is the saddest thing of all. "Great" Britain? Not while this law stands.

Last night I met Lucy Connolly and after listening to her, I’m now 100% satisfied that an injustice was served. She never pleaded guilty to any charge that had the word ‘violence’ in it, she wasn’t bailed (a magistrate that I spoke to at the same event said it was extraordinary that she wasn’t.) Anyone who says that’s how Arsenal have played all season is on the wind up, obviously. They played in that style because that’s how they play. The difference is that individuals have been exceptional, and to almost to a man they were absolute dross today.

@BenColeyGolf The first half and if kepa hadn’t made that mistake Arsenal would’ve got back in the game again. Arteta trusted kepa because he deserved that trust but it was a second choice keeper. Look at the league table. Or the CL where we’re favourites. It doesn’t lie.

@arryjudd Which one, that the players were dross? That comment reflects the game as a whole. Some of them started well, but I think it’s fair (and common) to rate players on the sum. If you’re 8/10 for 15mins and 3/10 for 75mins, you played badly.
