本日、第3回となる「地域未来戦略に関する関係副大臣等会議」に出席し、地域未来戦略に関する検討状況について報告を受けました。 本会議には、地方自治体の代表の皆様、経済三団体の皆様、そして、経済産業局、地方整備局、農政局、運輸局、開発局等、地方機関の代表にご参加いただき、『地域未来戦略』の取りまとめに向けて充実したご議論をいただきました。 北海道・近畿の地方局長からは、『地域未来戦略』として支援していく『戦略産業クラスター計画』の素案について心強い報告をいただきました。 また、自治体主導で検討を進めていただいている、『地域産業クラスター計画』、『地場産業成長プラン』についても応援させていただきます。 順次決定されていくこれらの計画のポテンシャルを最大化するための、「インフラ整備」、「規制・制度改革」、「産業人材育成」などを実現する地域未来交付金の拡充や新たな財政措置の創設など、『地域未来戦略』の政策パッケージの早急な具体化を黄川田大臣に指示しました。 高市内閣は、縦割りを排し、今日の会議にも参加いただいた各省庁の地方機関が連携して、関係する自治体の皆様とも緊密に連携を取りながら、17の戦略分野の成長基盤となる産業クラスターを戦略的に形成してまいります。 さらに、財政面での支援のみならず、大胆な計画実現に取り組んでおられる自治体を、地方機関も含めた政府を挙げて、ソフト面でも伴走支援してまいります。 47都道府県のどこに住んでいても、安全に生活することができ、必要な医療や福祉や、高度な教育を受けることができ、働く場所がある。 これが、高市内閣の目指す日本の姿です。 「強く、豊かな」地域の希望ある未来を築くため、取組を進めてまいります。
