Your grandma and a marathon runner both scan the same protein bar. Both see "72 — Good." from one of the top food scanning apps in the world.
One person should avoid it. The other needs it for fuel.
And that app? It fluctuates between top 5 on the App Store for health & fitness. 😐
Some apps do try to personalize. But in my experience, they lack depth, nuance, and actionable insights. They'll account for a few preferences but never fully account for you. Your health conditions, your goals, the context of when and why you're eating something.
I kept wanting more. So I built it. 🔧
Ceeya evaluates every product through three lenses:
🔬 Objective Quality → How does this product actually stack up against others in its category? A protein bar judged against protein bars, not against kale.
🛡️ Your Health → Allergens (including hidden derivatives like sodium caseinate, which is actually dairy), intolerances, health conditions, life stage (teen, pregnant, elderly, etc). If it's not safe for you, you know immediately.
🎯 Your Context → Your goals, your food philosophy, and the moment you're in. That protein bar might be perfect pre-workout but a poor choice as a late-night snack. Same product, different context, different answer.
I'm 17 and I've been bootstrapping this solo for months. Countless refactors, product pivots, and more than a few moments where it looked like nothing was going to work out. But I kept building. 💪
Now Ceeya is preparing for beta and planning to launch as soon as stable. 🚀
‼️ I'm hand-picking a small group of beta testers to help shape the final product. Beta testers get free lifetime premium. ‼️
If you manage a health condition, have dietary restrictions, are training for something, or just want food intelligence that actually accounts for who you are; this is for you.
