35-40 ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ‘ਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਉਨੀ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਕੁਝ ਸੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਸ ਮੋੜ ‘ਤੇ ਹੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਪਹਿਨਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਸਲ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। 35 ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਚਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਬਾਅਦ ‘ਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਮਤਲਬ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਰੋ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਸੀ, ਦਿਲ ਹੌਲਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਤਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਦੱਬ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਹੌਲੀ-ਹੌਲੀ ਖੁਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸੋਚੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸੀ, ਸੱਚੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਬਾਅਦ ‘ਚ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਾ ਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕੁਝ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਪਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ… ‘ਤੇ ਇਹ ਪਰਦੇ ਹੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੇ 🙏
