With the jewels all restored to the crown and Azaroth taken to the dungeons by her body guard, the Queen can finally have her Jubilee Party! @bentondenesch

The last jewel is found - only just as Aquaman nearly decides keeps it for himself! But phew, hands it over just before Professor Azaroth can take it. Back to the palace… Freddie in B9 spent days on this detailed drawing of Buckingham Palace for the backdrop. @bentondenesch

We were finally able to put on our Summer Performance, which all of KS2 work on in their spring Art, DT, Music and Drama lessons. Professor Azaroth has stolen the Queens Jewels and it’s up to the brave wizards at Bogburps School for Young Wizards to find them! @bentondenesch

Red 1 completed their backdrop for the Summer Show yesterday. They’ve used marble art, printing and painting to create a moon scene and have really enjoyed it! @bentondenesch

Red 2 had great fun exploring textures last week and how we can use texture in print and crayon rubbings. We then explored how we can press objects into clay to create textures and then their imaginations ran wild! Buildings, boats and Pinocchio! @bentondenesch

@CircusCentral visited Benton Dene School last week to deliver a special literacy themed Circus workshop to pupils from Y3, Y4, G5, G6, G8, R1, R2, and R4. Pupils and staff all had a fantastic time exploring circus skills and definitely caught the circus bug! @bentondenesch

G6, who are in Y2, had great fun last week exploring snail spirals, inspired by @accessart. They’ve been exploring line and colour and how different artists and architects, such as Bridget Riley and Frederick Hundertwasser, use line in their work. @bentondenesch
