Spent the day vehicle shopping, test drove and researched quite a few EVs. It came down to 2 for us - 2026 Tesla Premium Model Y - 2026 Cadillac Vistiq We ended up putting a deposit down on the Tesla Model Y for our first EV. Just wanted to thank y'all for the suggestions!

ELECTRIC VEHICLE OWNERS what is the worst thing about owning one? I'm really thinking about getting a Cadillac Vistiq and it would be my first EV. I'm trying to find out what's the stuff folks don't tell you. What took an adjustment from going from a regular car to an EV?

@GeromeDEV @Armandotrue Claude Code has awesome plan mode, just switch to it, describe the feature you want to build, and ask Claude to make a plan. It will make a research and present detailed plan, then iterate. Once you happy, say “do it” and go grab some coffee.

@serhatculhalik @PovilasKorop I noticed that terminal version is a little more accurate. I started with VS Code extension but use terminal only now.

@PovilasKorop Is there any difference in the quality of the code output when using Claude Code inside VS Code as an extention versus using it from the terminal?

Opinion. Claude Code is amazing. BUT. It can be fully usable for a *developer* only in a Terminal inside of a *proper IDE*, like Cursor/VS Code, PhpStorm, or whatever you prefer. As a developer, I do need to see the filetree, current git status, quickly open any file, etc.

@ArtemBondar @Shpigford most of them I only run once per project, to set up the rules and guidelines. but that's also why i have the /hud command, to show me that view right there!

am i legitimately missing out on some major new productivity/power unlocks in claude code by ignoring all the extras (mcps, plugins, skills, agents) and just going vanilla with it?

@Shpigford all kinds of stuff! I think of coding with LLMs as a ratchet. Everytime something goes wrong or has bad quality, we fix the system.

we analyzed 3400 opencode zen users and their anthropic usage last 30 days median spend: $13.52 average spend: $44.36 only 75 people above $200 (3%) i know there's a psychological impact of a "subscription" but maybe you don't really need that $200 plan
