I never thought I’d say this, but I’m bored with Meghan Markle. Initially, I was curious about her. Then, concerned and baffled at her litany of bad behaviours that emerged around the time of her wedding. She never fitted into the Royal Family and appeared to have no intention to. Eventually she disgusted me and I still see her as a threat to the monarchy, although that’s diminishing. I spent years here on Xwitter venting my thoughts. But now, although I still despise her, I feel nothing more but disinterest towards this oxygen-sucker. I’ve noticed that anything I post about her receives much more engagement than for any other Royal (not that I consider her Royal). So my account may just crash and burn, and I love this community, so there’s that. But right now, I just don’t have the head space or bandwidth to talk about her every day. Narcissists are exhausting. Her endless lies, business failures and manipulation of the media cycle are all now so tedious, and I’m over them.

@MeghansMole The only ones bitter and feuding are Harry and his wife. The Royals have maintained a dignified silence.

@DenisVfilms @Variety Bond is a very complex character. Most under 30's have no real life experience to draw on. Amazon wants a complete wet behind the ears unknown. A talented established actor will take on the role and become the character. We forget past characterisations.

Amazon is looking for an actor under 30 to play the next James Bond. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Henry Cavill, and Idris Elba will not be chosen. (via @Variety)
