what are the examples of individuals with great power who have given up their power willingly for the sake of the commonweal? possibly LBJ? (though LBJ had seen the handwriting on the wall & knew that his era had passed.) (Nixon only resigned because he was forced. his last TV appearances before the end show him grinning gleefully, making a V for Victory signal out of sheer defiance; & then, he knew he would be pardoned. Nixon came off very well, actually, for a criminal who, if he hadn't been US president, would have been incarcerated.)

This is a textbook example of affirmative action doing exactly what its defenders insist it does not do. This person won the Pulitzer Prize reporting for the New York Times in 2020 and was then hired with automatic tenure at Howard University despite not having a PhD. Yet she cannot spell basic words like “lesser” or “undeserved,” even as she insists that affirmative-action policies do not elevate under-qualified black people to elite positions or confer awards they have not earned. She is, quite literally, a living refutation of her own claim.
