ARTICLE 19 Afrique de l’Ouest rencontre le Ministre de la Justice du Sénégal Le vendredi 3 juillet 2026, ARTICLE 19 Afrique de l’Ouest a été reçu en audience par le Ministre de la Justice, Garde des Sceaux, M. Moussa SARR. Conduite par son Directeur régional, @AlfredBNkuru, la délégation a présenté les missions de l’organisation et échangé avec le ministre sur plusieurs sujets clés pour la démocratie et les droits humains au Sénégal. Les échanges ont porté notamment sur : ✅ La dépénalisation des délits de presse ; ✅ La réforme des dispositions relatives aux libertés publiques ; ✅ L’encadrement juridique des réunions et manifestations publiques ; ✅ Les recommandations de l’Examen Périodique Universel (EPU) ; ✅ La protection des femmes contre les violences et leur participation à la vie publique ; ✅ Le Partenariat pour un Gouvernement Ouvert (PGO) et l’application effective de la loi sur l’accès à l’information. Cette rencontre a également permis d’aborder les moyens de renforcer la mise en œuvre de la loi sur l’accès à l’information ainsi que les engagements du Sénégal dans le cadre du Partenariat pour un Gouvernement Ouvert (PGO).
