You've heard of RLHF in AI, but what about RLMF? Reinforcement Learning with MACHINE Feedback! Here's something I made that comes close. I wonder if OpenAI actually uses this machine feedback to train its model further. This may be the future: machines teaching machines!

Thankful for a very special dinner with my friend @matteocollina in Milan tonight where we talked about running a company, Fastify, @platformatic, devrel, adoption, and so much more over delicious Italian cuisine. A truly delightful 3-hour conversation.

I did it! My calculator is pretty much bulletproof now—even without `eval`!!! Give it a whirl? Would love more challenges on how I can improve it as part of my #100daysofcode. I think it may be time to get into unit testing this thing! codepen.io/Leeka_ku/pen/y…

@artleeka Came here to say that this is one of those LEGIT HARD problems that I used to come up against as a beginner and not know how hard they were. So I have no idea 😂

Does creating an AR filter count as coding for #100daysfcode ? Asking for a friend… (Seriously though, I used an if Statement it should totally count)

@artleeka An example of this is the "if" statement on line 12. It's fairly complex so it's hard to understand what's happening there But if we reformat it, it separates the different logic statements and aligns them, making it much clearer

Turning “1+2” into 1+2 seems so easy but turns out it really isn’t 😂 Also why does !number(0) return true? Just 2 of my problems as I finally made my calculator function without eval() 🎉 Lmk how I can improve it? (It’s day 4 of my #100daysofcode) codepen.io/Leeka_ku/pen/y…

Given an equation as a string "2*3+5/10*9-32*5+6", what’s the best way to evaluate it and output the correct numeric result with JavaScript?

@artleeka Hey @artleeka "analysis paralysis" is real, but there's a solution: Create small experiments to give yourself immediate feedback. Use the browser console to see what a command does. Spend less time thinking "Will this work?" & more time finding out 😀

I spend a lot more time thinking about code today than actually writing anything. Feels like my head is full of {} and ifs and whiles but I’ve got nothing to show for it. Please tell me that gets better at some point? (It’s day 3 of my #100daysofcode )

@JedWatson @mattpocockuk So I think I also was able to make it work. It’s not commented at all just to warn you - but I did also use arrays like you! My solution works with splice instead of split, though. Today my goal was to just make it work somehow - would love your tips for making it better!

@JedWatson @mattpocockuk Thanks for all the inspo, Jed! I had a similar idea yesterday and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to execute it. Won’t check yours out before I don’t at least try it out for myself 💪
