Some grayscale imaginative doodles. Was playing with some brushes. Also did a study in the end. Decided not to do a "paint-over" (leaving the line sketch in). I don't mind it. I think it's something I could do more of. (Patreon for videos & files).

Discovered another way to render fast with only a rough sketch to begin with. Took about an hour (while experimenting). Pretty happy with how the skin turned out too. Looks better than the actual reference! (Real-time Video w/ Voice-over on Patreon)

I've been seeing this guy lately. Wanted to try doing a quick one. Took about 45 minutes.

I think I found a way to paint rough sketches fast! This experiment took about an hour which works for me 'cause I'm quite impatient. But I feel like this will work for me in the long run. I'll refine the process as I go. (Real-time Video w/ Voice-over on Patreon)

Procrastinating

Trying to get used to sketching from imagination. Drawing on yellow in sepia seems to not strain my eyes too much as well. It kind of reminds me of when I used to sketch on tracing paper or post-it notes. Might do more of it. More pages, w/ brushes, & real-time video on Patreon!

Recent sketches! Made some new pencil brushes (CSP) and also tried to do a "doujin" page. Lot's to learn but I'm excited for what's to cum.

Wanted to be more painterly, but ended up using mostly the soft brush for rendering.

Sometimes drawing lightly helps you figure things out more. Less strain on the eyes too.
