Police investigate homicide Halifax Regional Police is investigating a homicide that occurred in Halifax this afternoon. At approximately 5:05 p.m. police responded to a report of an injured person in the parking lot of a retail center at 7001 Mumford Road. Officers located a male youth who was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. Officers arrested two suspects at approximately 5:25 p.m. on a Halifax Transit Bus in the area of North St in Halifax. The investigation is in the early stages and more information will be provided when it becomes available. Officers will have a visible presence at the scene for an extended period of time as the investigation continues. Investigators are asking anyone with information or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020. 24-53053
