A lot of designers on X post random app screens that are often inspired by or copied from someone else’s work. Then when a client hires them, the project falls apart because they can’t deliver the same quality they were showing online. I’ve hired wrong designers before and suffered loss of time and money. A good designer thinks about the user, the product, the system, balance, consistency, and only then makes it look beautiful and functional. Most importantly, be honest with yourself. If you’re not doing this yet, accept it and work on it. Start designing full apps, not just single screens, that’s how you actually grow.
