प्रधानमंत्री के संसदीय क्षेत्र #Varanasi के उदय प्रताप कॉलेज क्लास में घुसकर BSc चौथे सेमेस्टर के छात्र सूर्य प्रताप सिंह की मनजीत नाम के युवक ने हत्या कर दी. सूर्य प्रताप सिंह को आरोपी मनजीत ने 3 गोलियां मारी.गोली मारने के बाद आरोपी छात्र मनजीत फरार हो गया. सूर्य प्रताप सिंह को #BHU ट्रॉमा सेंटर के जाया गया जहां उसकी मौत हो गई. इस कांड के बाद नाराज छात्रों ने कॉलेज परिसर में तोड़फोड़ मचाया. कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल को गाली देते हुए गेट पर प्रदर्शन किया. फिलहाल पूरा कॉलेज पुलिस छावनी में तब्दील है.
