Frankly, I don’t see any anti-incumbency in Tamil Nadu. I firmly feel that DMK would come back to power as things stand now. From now to April; 4 months is quite long time for things to shift.

Big problem with ADMK-BJP+ is that they haven’t framed a clear simple narrative as to why DMK needs to go. They are throwing arrows on all directions to see which one sticks. Debt is one of them that has little impact on an average voter. JJ had a clear narrative in 2011 as to why DMK should be defeated ( Family rule, corruption, Power cuts) and EPS-Nainar-KA have still not figured that out. And it may be too little too late.
