मध्यप्रदेश सरकार के विधि विभाग द्वारा सुप्रीम कोर्ट एवं हाईकोर्ट की तीनों खंडपीठों के लिए लगभग 150 पैनल वकीलों की नियुक्ति की गई, लेकिन बेहद चिंताजनक और दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण तथ्य यह है कि इस सूची में अनुसूचित जाति एवं अनुसूचित जनजाति वर्ग के वकीलों को लगभग पूरी तरह नजरअंदाज कर दिया गया। जब संविधान अनुसूचित जाति को 16% और अनुसूचित जनजाति को 21% प्रतिनिधित्व एवं समान अवसर की भावना देता है, तो फिर न्याय व्यवस्था से जुड़े इतने महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर इन वर्गों की भागीदारी शून्य क्यों है? क्या यही भाजपा और आरएसएस की तथाकथित “सामाजिक समरसता” है? यदि सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाईकोर्ट की खंडपीठों के लिए बनाए गए 150 वकीलों के पैनल में एससी-एसटी वर्ग के योग्य अधिवक्ताओं को स्थान नहीं मिलेगा, तो भविष्य में इन वर्गों से हाईकोर्ट और सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश कैसे बनेंगे? यह केवल प्रतिनिधित्व का सवाल नहीं, बल्कि सामाजिक न्याय, संवैधानिक अधिकार और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के भविष्य का प्रश्न है। मध्यप्रदेश के आदिवासी, दलित और वंचित समाज के युवाओं को इस भेदभाव को समझना होगा और अपने हक एवं अधिकारों के लिए लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से आवाज उठानी होगी। भारत का संविधान सबको समान अवसर देने की बात करता है। यदि व्यवस्था में आपको बराबरी का अवसर नहीं मिल रहा, तो यह सामाजिक न्याय की भावना के साथ अन्याय है। आज अगर हम चुप रहे, तो आने वाली पीढ़ियों के अधिकार भी खतरे में पड़ जाएंगे। — डॉ. हिरालाल अलावा विधायक, मनावर राष्ट्रीय संरक्षक, जयस

Remember Rekha Patra,the face of resistance against political violence, police excesses,and the institutionalised sexual exploitation of SC/ST women in Sandeshkhali under TMC rule. Her fearless feminist assertions shattered the hegemonic feninist discourse & dominance of Kolkata’s elite urban upper-caste "mainstream". It is only fitting that her name is being considered for a ministerial position & this has visibly unsettled sections of the entrenched Bengali upper-caste establishment,including many self-proclaimed progressive elites. When Rekha's name floated around for Ministership,all hell broke loose, she is mocked, belittled, bullied,body shamed, witch-hunted for being dalit woman, this exposes how major cabinet positions in Bengal have historically remained the preserve of upper-caste Bengali men and women leaders & UCs can't see Dalit women rising through the ranks. Here is a sample of a bengali Brahman woman blatantly abusing Dalit woman Rekha Patra(now an elected MLA).

तमिलनाडु में दलितों की पार्टी पहली बार किंगमेकर की भूमिका में है। तमिलनाडु में दलितों की पार्टी VCK है जोकि दलित पैंथर की तमिलनाडु विंग से निकली है। कुछ महीना पहले इसके नेता तिरूवनालम से लन्दन में मुलाकात हुई थी। इनके पास 2 MLA हैं, और उपमुख्यमंत्री की माँग कर रहे हैं।
