Fermin probably with one of the most underwhelming 30g/a season i have witness at the club. Too many inconsistent performances mixed with his 40% brainless decision making, frustrating to watch in some days but 30g/a is monstrous.

Roby is a genius and I admire lots of things he said in here, but I think getting a defensive midfielder won’t be much of a problem compared to getting a winger with a much higher ceiling. I’ve had about this because our physical floor in midfield is not UCL level. Even if we morph into a 4-3-3 like Neal presented with the likes of Gavi, I don’t believe that works. But the need for a CF compared to a LW is a bit redundant. You need players capable of creating something out of the dynamics, what I mean is a player who does not only plays to suit the structure, but can also unravel difficult situations. Whoever comes in must have the tendency to ease Lamine’s burden and a CF alone cannot do that. Dembele is an anomaly because he’s not the usual archetype of striker you can find on the market. This is just my opinion, but still a good shout by Roby.

I wasn’t paying much attention to the Eduardo Conceição news at first, but as the links got stronger, I looked into him and realized he hasn’t played any senior football yet. That’s not a bad thing, he’s still only 16. The real issue is the price. If the reported €50M is true, even if it includes bonuses and isn’t all fixed, it still feels unrealistic for a player with 0 senior experience. And in our current financial situation, that’s a huge risk. Of course, I could be completely wrong, and in 2–3 years we might look back and laugh at this take. I haven’t really followed the player, and watching a few highlights isn’t enough to judge. So my view is simple: it’s a big risk. But if the club’s scouts truly believe he’s worth it, then they’re the ones who have to make that call.

@XDcomps Even if the report is accurate (I think it is) it doesn’t rlly change anything. He wants to come but Atleti doesn’t. If we can’t get him reasonably we’ll move onto someone else.
