Christiana Oppong, a Ghanaian international student pursuing an MBA in Supply Chain Management at the University of Memphis in the United States, is appealing for urgent financial assistance after her home country scholarship failed to disburse funds for her tuition.
According to her, the university is demanding a payment of $23,000 to cover her outstanding tuition and fees. With only two weeks left to settle the amount, she fears she could be forced to halt her education.
As an international student, Christiana is permitted to work only 20 hours per week, making it virtually impossible to raise such a substantial sum on her own.
She is appealing to the public and benevolent individuals to support her by donating to a GoFundMe account she has created

18 years ago, Mrs. Bernice Offei released ‘Life is Short’ as part of her album ‘Life’ ✨
Mrs. Bernice Offei is a respected Ghanaian gospel artiste known for impactful songs like ‘Life is Short’ and ‘Hold on.’ With 6 albums and over 30 songs, she’s a seasoned musician who left her career at Standard Chartered Bank in 2016 to focus on her ministry full-time.
Mrs. Offei holds an MPhil in Crop Science from the University of Ghana and an MSc in Information Technology from the UK. She is married to the former Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Samuel Kwame Offei, and they have two children together.
She won Best Female Vocal Performance and Songwriter of the Year at the 10th Ghana Music Awards (now Telecel Ghana Music Awards, TGMA) in 2009.
