One of my neighbors who is always bringing different girls to the compound brought a new girl today. He dropped her off and left immediately. She changed from her NYSC khaki into his boxers and T.shirt, then went outside the gate, probably to buy something. I went and stood somewhere waiting for her, when she got close to his door, I shouted “Vera, how far na? You just show you no even check on me” while walking toward her. She turned and said “sorry?” Then I said, “Oh, I’m so sorry. I thought you were Vera, his wife. Sorry” and went back to my room. Few minutes later, the guy came back and I heard them arguing. Then she left. He came and knocked on my door, asking what I told his woman. I said “Me ke? Which woman? Told who what? Have you even seen me today?” He said the girl told him his neighbor said bla bla bla… And I’m the only neighbor around. He has been calling me different names since. But it is not my concign. 🥹
