Biotoxic Disinjector. It’s Strong! … too strong. Tonight Friday April 3rd at 6pm PT we will be doing a change on live taking it down a notch and nerfing its damage. We’re likely to make some adjustments to Biotox in the near future and may not stick to this damage nerf but for now we wanted to make sure we could curb a little bit of its dominion in the game. 

The change:
- Biotoxic Disinjector will now deal 35% less damage across the board.

It’s also boring bro, contextually one of the themes of the story is growth through competitions and the healthiest way to tie that up is to showcase how characters handle loss and how they use that as a moment to grow from the that.

You’re comparing NA 4 and below to MENA 3 and below. Yea maybe after a few seasons and MENA 2 making a grand final or consistent top 8’s we can revisit this.

@swiwindler @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality Realistically all the MENA teams last season were playing for that one event. None of them were expected to get to majors over TM and Falcons. When they actually had to win, I’m going to favor the team that came out and did.

@ascillios @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality we don't have enough on mena2 competitiveness this season though because they got the actual worst pick for a group i've ever seen. the group was literally overly stacked. you put any team on there in place of any team there's no guarantee they make it.

@swiwindler @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality I think the second team MENA is sending rn needs to earn it. And then at worlds whatever team gets through LCQ has to atleast play close matches against the top teams

@ascillios @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality and another thing of note, we're putting nrg and falcons at the same tier. twisted minds has a winning record against falcons. no na team (off the top of my head) has a winning record against nrg. geng maybe? but they haven't made a lan.

@swiwindler @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality When I say NA 2 is more competitive than MENA 2 I mean historically and recently they make deeper runs more consistently. We’re also sitting under a power ranking that has NA 2 and 3 ranked higher. And when we did have a MENA 3 they went 0-6 in groups.

@ascillios @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality dunno about that. most power rankings would have twisted minds around or above shop. i'd say the teams are pretty even. last year sure, mena2 had 1 good event, na2 had 2 good showings. but we've gotten to a point where the gap between the 2, if there is any, is extremely small.

But MENA 2 isn’t as competitive as NA 2, they’re on the level of NA 3. And MENA 3 and NA4 are the same tier. If MENA 2 and NA 2 were on the same tier I’d agree with U

@ascillios @RLEsports @FirstTouchRL @TeamVitality team vision was the more consistent and better team through the season. giving eu and na the same amount of lan spots is unreasonable to me because mena is closer to na than na is to eu. which is why i'd justify giving an na spot to either eu or mena.
