Our intelligence services reported receiving data, including from American and European partners, about Russia preparing a strike with the Oreshnik missile. We are verifying this information.
We are seeing signs of preparation for a combined strike on Ukrainian territory, including Kyiv, involving various types of weaponry. The specified intermediate-range weapons could be used in such a strike. It is important to act responsibly on air-raid alerts, starting this evening. Russian madness truly knows no bounds, so please protect your lives – use shelters.
Second, we are drawing the attention of our partners in the United States and in Europe to the fact that the use of such weapons and the prolongation of this war also sets a global precedent for other potential aggressors. If Russia is allowed to destroy lives on such a scale, then no agreement will restrain other similar hatred-based regimes from aggression and strikes. We count on a response from the world – and on a response that is not post factum, but preventive. Pressure must be put on Moscow so that it does not expand the war.
Third, we are preparing our air defense as much as possible, and we will respond fully justly to every Russian strike. We have given permission for a parade, but Russia has no permission for madness. This war must be ended – we need peace, not some missiles satisfying the sick ambitions of one individual. I thank everyone helping to protect lives. Once again, please take care of yourselves and use shelters tonight.

Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine and all the Defense Forces of Ukraine for their precision. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it. Glory to Ukraine!

While the UN tries to avoid to point at the obvious culprit of the strike against their convoy in Kherson, Ukraine, Russians released FPV footage of that particular strike, making absolutely clear this wasn’t some kind of accident, but a deliberate terrorist strike, which civilians in Kherson have to endure on a daily base.

Forty years ago, the world faced one of the worst nuclear disasters.
When explosions destroyed the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, a significant amount of radioactive substance was released into the atmosphere. Hundreds of thousands of people spent years dealing with the fallout from the tragedy.
We still see the reminders four decades later: in the abandoned city of Prypiat, known as a ghost town; or in the Red Forest, where the tree color has been permanently altered. While the whole world worked together to prevent a repetition of such a disaster, Russia began launching drones over the Chornobyl NPP. And this means only one thing—the danger hasn’t gone away, it has only grown.

Forty years ago, the world faced one of the largest nuclear disasters – the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded. A significant amount of radioactive material was released. Hundreds of thousands of people have been dealing with the consequences of that tragedy for years.
To contain the radiation, a sarcophagus was built over the destroyed reactor. Later, more than 40 countries enclosed it with the New Safe Confinement to prevent further disasters.
These two structures are what protect against radioactive releases and contamination. Their maintenance and protection are in everyone’s interest. But through its war, Russia is once again bringing the world to the brink of a man-made disaster – Russian-Iranian “shaheds” regularly fly over the plant, and one of them struck the confinement last year.
The world must not allow this nuclear terrorism to continue, and the best way is to force Russia to stop its reckless attacks.
We remember everyone who gave their lives while dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy. May all the victims of the Chornobyl disaster rest in peace.

Here are Russia's brand new 2S43 Malva 152mm self-propelled wheeled artillery guns on the way to the front lines along with 9K512 Uragan-1M MLRS.
Actual State of the Russian military in 2026:
- 680,000 troops occupy Ukraine.
- Ground forces doubled from 2022 to nearly 600,000, despite losing 1.3 million.
- 1.3 million active duty troops (up 44% since 2022).
- 70-85 Iskander and Kinzhal ballistic missiles per month. Was 3/month in 2022.
- 120–170 cruise missiles per month.
- Shells/munitions production: 7 million artillery, mortar, tank/IFV, and MLRS rounds in 2025 (17× pre-invasion 2021 level of 400,000).
- 7 million FPV drones/year.
- 150,000 strike drones/year, boosting to 360,000/year. That's Shaheds, etc.
- 21,000 armored vehicles (tanks + IFVs + APCs/ACVs) in active inventory, exceeding pre-2022 levels. Despite ~16,000 losses since Feb 2022.
STOP SAYING THAT RUSSIA DOESN'T HAVE THE MILITARY TO WAGE WAR BEYOND UKRAINE.
EUROPE MUST MOBILIZE FOR WAR IF IT HOPES TO PREVENT A LARGER WAR.

We cannot simply speak about withdrawing from Donbas as a matter of compromise. Our withdrawal from Donbas would open up opportunities for the Russian Federation to occupy our most fortified territories without losses.
Some people say it would take a year to a year and a half to build new fortifications. But everyone forgets: first and foremost, that is a year and a half. And even if it were less, fortifications in an open field are a completely different matter from those in urban areas. They can never provide equally strong protection.
A withdrawal would give the Russian Federation room for large-scale maneuver. They could advance either toward Kharkiv or toward Dnipro, destroying our cities. And two major cities would be at risk – cities that, incidentally, generate a significant share of our GDP.
So many people have died there… The morale of our army would certainly decline. There would undoubtedly be a rift in society. The army – which would surely not support such steps – on one side, and society on the other. And division within society is precisely what Putin is aiming for.
Moreover, there are currently 200,000 people living in the territories of Donbas that we are defending. Withdrawal does not mean preserving anything. You leave, and without any guarantees, you risk losing everything. And that is a major risk.
