@asexualkermit Yeah it's romance focused and it's also about different identities imo and as someone on the spectrum I was hoping they would explore the aroace aspect more. I agree maybe it would have worked better as a season alas I'm happy about every crumb I can get haha

Bit disappointed that they didn't write a scene with her and Isaac, we barely get any aroace representation in media and with how season 3 ended I was hoping they'd dive into it a bit deeper. Also such little focus on the other pairings beside N/C hmm

heartstopper is a romance. nick and charlie are a couple. couples having sex is fairly normal. the show didn’t have sex in the first two seasons bc nick and charlie were in the early stages of their relationship but they’re much older now so it’s a nature evolution for them.
