One of our teacher trainees, Carly (PGCE Primary), has launched a lunchtime club where the children are starting with number bonds in their first session. It’s wonderful to see the amazing initiatives our trainees are taking during their placements!

Primary PGCE trainee Claire has set up a KS1 reading club at her placement school. Each week the children focus on a different book and become reading detectives. The children are thoroughly enjoying their new lunchtime club! 📖 #asfc #ampscitt #teachertrainee #teaching

Our teacher trainees are now taking responsibility for the teaching and learning of science on their primary PGCE placements. Our trainee, Freya, has planned and implemented lessons on deciduous and evergreen trees and led her Y1 class to investigate their local environment! 🍂
