Whilst I’m sure he said this in good faith, I’m not sure fans will fully buy into the “it shows how much Palace means to me” line when you decided 3 months ago that you wanted out at the end of the season.

Exactly! It’s a massive area that has gone fairly unnoticed. We literally had sports psychologists on payroll at every level for the Blue Jays. We referred to them as the “Mental Strength & Conditioning Coaches.” Their role was just as instrumental as the manager, trainer, etc.

@CPFC_Tampa Even as a fan mental/psychological fatigue sets in. Yet another game in a short space of time. As much as I love football there’s a limit to how regularly I can ‘get up’ for a game.
