Thank you so much to @dodo for sharing Pirate and my story. As a @RAINN speaker, it’s important to me to share a message of hope to those affected by sexual assault. Rescuing a dog has given me a sense of purpose and peace.

@dodo Pit bulls are adorable we owned one, a female. She brought us joy and laughter for eleven years. She died in 2017. Her name was Trixie.
