Today a group of year 5 children have had the fantastic opportunity to visit Cambridge University as part of our Aspirations curriculum. This morning we have had an interesting tour of King’s college. This afternoon, we will be visiting the astrophysics department.

A great day in reception @NewSilksAcademy solving the Sugar Snatcher mystery. We have been detectives 🕵️‍♂️ looking at clues, learning about the role of the police, making badges, police cars & police stations. Lots of vocabulary used and opportunities for speaking and listening 👂

We took part in the Institute of Imagination Save, Make and Reinvent workshops this week. Our children throughly enjoyed being creative, problem solving, working collaboratively and having fun.
