A heavily-followed Israeli Telegram page posted a video of cats devouring the body of a dead man in Gaza. The responses were appalling, consisting either of mockery of the situation or pity for the cats, forced by starvation to feed on the corpse of a so-called "terrorist." Typically, I don't dwell on such videos and replies. I’m aware of the prevalent racism in Israeli society. However, it's becoming increasingly evident that there exists a profound and abiding animosity towards Palestinians. This hatred is not merely a product of the ongoing war; it represents deep-seated resentment towards an entire people. One that cannot be resolved anytime soon. The systematic dehumanization of Palestinians seems to be the only justification deemed necessary for usurping their homes, occupying their land, exploiting their resources, denying their freedom, and eradicating their existence. Zionist hatred of Palestinians is at the essence and core of Zionist ideology.
