Lake Travis HS teenager with #peanutallergy exposed to peanuts on purpose by high school football teammates.When we talk about the jokes about #foodallergies leading to IRL consequences this is a case in point. cbsaustin.com/news/local/lak… They spread peanut powder /peanut products on a fellow teammates locker and clothes. They knew about his allergy and even recorded the incident.The football players had to sit out for two regular season games as punishment, that's it. No suspension. No marks on their records, nothing. The jokes infuse into public consciousness & IMHO help perpetuate the leading myth that #allergies are not real. Utterly unacceptable.
