Hut 8 just reported Q4 earnings. Stock is down on a day BTC is up 7.7%. Here's what the market is pricing vs what actually happened: The market sees: $248M net loss. Revenue miss. What actually happened: 1. Revenue +45% YoY. Compute segment +151%. Margins 47%→54%. 2. Financing improved AFTER the deal — 85% LTC → 90% LTC at SOFR+240. Multi-hundred million cash-back at close. 3. CEO explicitly said they're removing Bitcoin from the balance sheet. The company that was a BTC miner is voluntarily exiting BTC exposure. 4. The $220M loss is unrealized BTC mark-to-market. Not operational. The real story nobody is talking about: Hut 8 now has $9B in Google-backstopped contracted infrastructure. 8.5GW pipeline. 70% institutional ownership — up from sub-10%. Eric Trump — who was the headline 8 months ago — wasn't mentioned once on the call. When the promotional catalyst disappears and the institutional capital stays, that's not a narrative. That's structure. I am long HUT.
